Following a very hot and dusty round of the IMBA MX1 European Championship held at Huldenberg, Belgium on Sunday, its still super Brit James Dodd on the JSR Thunderroad Honda who's leading the way.

Doddy started this fourth round with a composed and controlled victory in the opening moto before going 3/4 in the remaining two clashes which meant 3rd overall behind winner Glenn Bielen of the home Country and Dutch ace Jacky Tausch. But, more importantly with Dodd's closest rival and Belgian favourite Stijn Verstrepen only managing 7th overall it now means that the Brit has increased his title advantage to a nice 94 points.

The other Brits in action at Huldenberg were Dodd's JSR Honda teammates Andrew Smart and Ashley Thomas. With a 7/5/5 scorecard, Thomas took 5th overall as Smart went 6/6/7 for 6th place. In the Championship table Smart is still holding a fantastic 3rd on 548 points, 41 better off than Thomas in 5th. Next up for the Brits is the very daunting prospect of a trip to Meijel in Holland and it's energy sappping, axle deep sand!.
