2022 Provisonal Fixtures
The Central Group are running a Championship for riders in their clubs this season
Only Central Group riders can score Championship points
AMCA to collate and publish the standings after every round and issue to Co-Ordinator and transponder operator
Classes for 65/85 Inters run together but split for overall, MX1 Junior, MX2 Junior, MX1 Senior, MX2 Senior, MX1 Expert, MX2 Expert, Open Vets and EVO. AMCA Championship riders not to score. Classes can be run together due to numbers, but trophies will be split
Scoring: As AMCA Championship ie 50 for 1st down to 5 for 36th
ODL and Out of Group riders will be scored on the day but ODL’s will be removed from the results. The remaining riders will not be moved up (the points scored by Central Group riders would be the ones to count for the Championship. All upgrading points scored at Central Group Championship meetings or any other AMCA Group events between 21st August and 23rd October will count for upgrading. However the class the riders is in on the Sunday before the 1st Central Group Championship meeting on 22nd August will be the class the rider is in for the remainder of the Central Group Championship. At any other AMCA meeting they ride in during this period, they will ride in their upgraded class.
If a Central Group Championship rider has sufficient points to be upgraded and wishes to ride in their upgraded class in the Championship, then they should inform the Co-Ordinator, who will action.
Any upgraded rider riding in their upgraded class at Central Group Championship meetings will retain their Championship points from their lower class. They will start from zero points in their upgraded class but can only win one Championship class (the one with the most rides in)
Vets and EVO’s can enter if on the correct bike. They can double enter but only score in one class which must be indicated at the start of the Championship.
