Weymouth Beach Race - 22ND OCTOBER 2017

Introduction

WEYMOUTH BEACH RACE START 2016

The Weymouth Beach Race is organised and run by the Purbeck Motocross club. The club are based in the South West of England and have on average 10 members who all contribute massively to run the event. The club also have many people who volunteer to help from around the area and local business even close to help out. The Weymouth and Portland Borough Council have been great in supporting this right from the first event in 1984.

The event also raises money with contributions from the entry fees and programme sales for the local Weymouth and Portland Lions club. They use the money raised to help the blind and disabled with equipment, help with train fares to allow families to visit their sick children and also help the St John Ambulance staff to train their members and members of the public and they also help to provide entertainment for the elderly.

Special Offer on Dunlop MX11 Tyres for 2017 Weymouth Beach Race Riders

AMCA Events is pleased to announce a special offer in association with Dunlop for riders signed up to compete at the 2017 Weymouth Beach Race, which takes place on 22 October.

Riders who have entered to compete at the Beach Race can take advantage of a very special price for a front and rear set of MX11 Dunlop tyres fitted on-site at the event for only £70 (18”/21”) and £65 (19”/21”).

The MX11 perfectly illustrates Dunlop’s strategy of using the racetrack as a development lab for new products. In terms of competitive off-road riding, there is no more demanding arena than the World Motocross Championship, which is where the MX11 was created and honed. The result is a tyre with top-level performance for grip, braking stability and durability, which is ideal for the demands of the Weymouth Beach Race.

The Geomax MX11 sand tyres offer unbeatable performance, and will certainly give riders the edge when attacking the Weymouth dune course. With confidence-inspiring cornering and straight-line traction, these tyres completely fit the off-road expression of the Dunlop ‘Ride With Confidence’ philosophy.

The MX11 tyres are available in the below sizes:

110/100-18
100/90-19
110/90-19
80/100-21
